2009 Games Note:

  • you need to configure the assumed hardware
  • this guide assumes a Philips NMS8245

Hardware configuration:

~/.openMSX/share/machines/NMS8250/hardwareconfig.xml

BIOS ROMS are not included but easy to find. Place them here:

~/.openMSX/share/machines/NMS8250/roms/*.rom

Example: boot MSX with a disk 'EIG.dsk' inserted: 

openmsx -machine NMS8250 -diska /home/userx/.openMSX/share/disks/EIG.dsk
