Sony headset wh-1000xm3 how to switch devices

You can pair up to 8 devices with the Sony headset. When the headset is turned on it will connect to the last connected device automatically (if available) Lets say this is device X.

Then, if you want it to connect to a certain device A, it won't work, device X will not release the connection.

The advice in the manual (note #2) is to deactivate device X. But you may not know which of the 7 possible devices it is.

How to take control with only the headset?

You can use paring to take control:

1. start with the headset powered off
2. turn on the headset and hold the button, it will start pairing and will not connect to the last device X
3. finally, on device A select the headset connection
